These days it is too risky for my grandma to leave her home very often. Her husband, my grandpa, passed a few weeks ago so now it's just my grandma and her dog. Me, along with my mom and brother try to visit my grandma as much as possible (with masks and at a distance). She now spends her days reading, baking, walking her dog Toshi, and playing online games. During these difficult times it is important to remind others why we need to continue to quarantine. As I see others around me still socializing with friends outside of their lockdown circles, it breaks my heart: because the longer people don’t care about the virus the more time my grandmother and millions of other grandmothers are locked alone in their homes
