When I arrived to photograph Sarah, she was in her kitchen making dough. I thought it was a good opportunity to showcase her love of cooking, and this photo ended up being my favorite of the whole series!
If there’s one thing the pandemic has made everyone feel, it’s anxious to get out and do something. Sarah’s passion for running hasn’t been impeded by the pandemic, rather it’s allowed her to get out of the house while doing something she loves.
Because photographing Sarah at work would’ve been difficult, I chose to take a portrait of her wearing her lab coat. I wanted to have a strong portrait of her that showcased her role in ending the pandemic.
