The Coronavirus Pandemic has affected each and every one of us across the globe. It has completely changed the way we live. In this unprecedented time of intense change and incomparable stress, we often forget that we are all dealing with the same things, just in different ways. What we are dealing with is not normal- we are living in a moment of history. As a community, we sometimes forget the collective grief we have for our lives before Covid, and this can lead to tension with others. The purpose of this project is to remind our little community of Albany that this is hard for all of us, and hopefully seeing this through photos will help us all be a little more empathetic.
Students in the Advanced Photography course at Albany High School created this project because they care about their community.  They wanted to share individual stories through exploration, conversation, and visual documentation.  Each of our stories is unique and worth sharing.  These students sought to give a voice to different members of the Albany community so that they could share their pandemic story.
